How does ad promotion work?
When promoting an ad, it will be displayed at the top of the search results, according to the "Plan" you choose, the "Uploads", and hours of duration that it has, in addition to the time you choose for the start of the promotion. These promotions are paid for through credits
What is a Plan?
The Plans (Plan), are the specifications of the way in which your ad will be promoted, the Plans have the following characteristics:
- Price - is the cost in credits that the plan has
- Days of duration - is the number of days that the promotion of your ad will last
- Hours per day - are the number of hours per day in which your ad will be promoted
- Daily uploads - are the number of times your ad will be uploaded
What are the Uploads?
An Upload (Uploads) is the positioning of an ad at the top of the search results, each Plan has a certain amount of daily uploads. The uploads of each plan will be distributed in equitable time intervals according to the daily hours of the plan, for example: if the plan has 4 daily hours of promotion and 4 daily uploads, then your ad will be uploaded 1 time every 60 minutes to the top of the search results
What is Quick Contact?
When promoting your ad you can check the "Quick contact" option, this will cause the contact buttons (phone and WhatsApp) to be displayed in the search results in your ad. It only applies if you put a phone number in your ad and optionally checked the WhatsApp option. You can edit your ad to add or remove contact options after promoting your ad
Advantages of promoting your ad
- Your ad will be more visible
- Your ad will automatically prevail over other ads in search results
- Your ad will show up more prominently in search results
- Visitors will be able to contact you more quickly
- A carousel with all your photos will be displayed instead of just the first photo in the search results
Important things
- Your ad will be promoted at the time you choose, but according to the time zone of the city where your ad belongs (be careful when promoting ads that belong to a city, region, or country that you are in)
- If the start time you selected for the promotion is less than the current time, the promotion of your ad will start the next day, otherwise the promotion will start that same day
- You can't promote ads that are 10 days or less from expiration
Promote your ads
To promote an ad follow these steps:
- Sign in to your account
- Click the "Menu" button on the navigation bar
- Click the "My Ads" button
- In the "Active Ads" tab in the "My Ads" section, click the "Promote" button for the ad you want to promote
- Select the plan of your preference (you must have sufficient credits), the start time of the promotion and optionally you can check the "Quick contact" option
- Finally click the "Promote" button and you're done!
